PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING INFORMATION:

• A person who desires to obtain any information under this ACT should make a request in writing & through electronics means in English or Hindi or in the official language of the area accompanying such fee as prescribed to the “State Public Information Officer” (SPIO), PHED, Manipur duly signed by the applicant.
• Any person, who does not receive a decision within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of application may prefer an appeal to the First Appellate Authority (FAA), PHED, Manipur from the expiry of such period.

CHARGES FOR OBTAINING INFORMATION:

Application Fee:

Rs. 10/- by way of cash against proper receipt or by demand draft or banker Cheque or by Indian Postal Order (IPO) payable to the Account Officer of the Public Authority.

Charges for Information furnished:

1. Rupees two for each page (in A-4 or A-3 size paper) created or copied.
2. Actual charge or cost price of a copy in larger size paper.
3. Actual cost or price for samples or models and for inspection of records, no fee for the first hour and a fee of rupees five for each fifteen minutes (or fraction thereof) thereafter.
